PilotWorkshops Announces September Simulator Winner

September 28, 2020 (Nashua, NH) – PilotWorkshops has announced the winner of its September 2020 simulator drawing as Tim Bahr of Crandon, WI.

Upon notification of his prize, Tim wrote, “I am an instrument rated private pilot living in Crandon, WI. After retiring from the Marine Corps after a long flying career I became a Young Eagles Flight Leader with the EAA in order to share the joy of flying with our younger generation. (Pictured is my nephew Tyler after his Young Eagles Flight).

With this flight simulator I plan on expanding ground school to potential Young Eagles as well as sharpening my own shills in the VFR and IFR flight arena. Once again I want to thank you and your organization for this generous gift and I look forward to getting everything set up and operational so I might continue the experience.”

The three-display simulator that Tim won was built by XForcePC.com, an expert in flight simulator systems and uses the new X-Plane 11 software. He also won “Getting Started With Flight Simulation“, a training program developed by PilotWorkshops designed to teach pilots how to fly useful training missions in home-based sims.
