October 20, 2017 (Nashua, NH) Jeff Van West has joined PilotWorkshops.com LLC in a newly formed Creative Director position. Jeff’s primary responsibility will be managing the development and creation of the company’s pilot proficiency training programs, including their flagship IFR Mastery program.
“We’ve been working extensively with Jeff on a freelance basis for the last three years and the fit has been great. He’s been involved in developing some of our most popular training programs,” said PilotWorkshops founder, Mark Robidoux. He continued, “We are thrilled to have someone with Jeff’s creative skillset, aviation knowledge and work ethic joining our team.”
For 19 years, Jeff developed numerous aviation projects with his own firm, Van West Communications, ranging from books and videos to live seminars. Jeff previously served as editor-in-chief for IFR Magazine and co-editor of Aviation Consumer, and his work appears in AOPA Pilot, Flight Training, Plane and Pilot, and on AVweb. Jeff is an active CFII and developed the new-owner transition program for the original Cirrus SR20.
