PilotWorkshops Releases “Instrument Rating Accelerator”

March 11, 2021 (Nashua, NH) – PilotWorkshops has released a video training program called, “Instrument Rating Accelerator”. A new concept in instrument training, this course follows a private pilot through his entire instrument rating, from the fundamentals, through numerous training flights, and a full checkride.

For anyone getting their Instrument Rating, this training provides a huge advantage in terms of knowing what to expect, being better prepared, and gaining the ability to review difficult concepts. Rusty Instrument pilots can use the videos to refresh and update their knowledge as they work to get current.

“We used desktop simulators for the training. This gave CFII Ryan Koch far more flexibility and control as an instructor because he could dial up situations, destinations, weather and emergencies to best reinforce the lessons,” stated PilotWorkshops founder Mark Robidoux. “While the rating isn’t “real”, the lessons learned are invaluable for any Instrument pilot.”

The program includes 34 videos totaling about 14 hours of curated, instructional training. It culminates in a comprehensive checkride conducted by veteran DPE and former “National Certificated Flight Instructor of the Year”, Doug Stewart.

Pilots completing the course are eligible for 6 WINGS credits. Details here…
