A day of fair-weather flying, tailwinds, and an airport restaurant with tasty barbecue makes for the perfect flying day. The after-lunch departure, however, has your full attention. The runway is short and sloped, and your takeoff weight and warmer temperatures won’t leave much of a margin. You can takeoff uphill and into the wind, or downhill with a tailwind.
