The “Extended Centerline” function in settings shows runway extended centerlines and runway numbers on the moving map. Which airports get this extra information?
A. Your destination airport only
B. Your departure and destination airport
C. All airports in your flight plan
D. Departure, destination, and any airport when zoomed in on it.
Answer: C
The extended centerlines are activated in the settings and appear for any airport in your flight plan. Note that a VOR on an airport will not trigger the extended lines for that airport (so JFK won’t make them appear for KJFK).
Also, the numbers disappear if you zoom out far enough. The lines also disappear once you zoom out so far they would be too small to see anyway.
