Aviation Insurance 101:
Get Important Facts About
Your Insurance Coverage!

Watch these brief educational video segments where Jim Lauerman (President of Avemco Insurance Company) answers the most common questions pilots ask about aviation insurance coverage.

Jim has delivered this popular presentation at AirVenture, Sun-n-Fun and other aviation events around the county.

Most pilots don't think about their aviation insurance until they really need it - and by then it's too late if they don't have the proper coverage. Those pilots who have listened to Jim's talk are sure glad they did! He covers the critical stuff and little known facts that every pilot must know.

Attention Aircraft Renters: Many pilots believe the insurance that is carried by the FBO or the owner of the aircraft will protect them. This is simply not true in most situations. The owners' insurance is designed to protect THEIR interests - not yours. An owners' insurance policy may not protect you for your liability or for physical damage to the aircraft or other people's property. That's why you need to carry Avemco Insurance Company Renters (Non-Owned) Insurance.
